100% Grass-Fed & Free Range. Meridian has been a supporter of having fully grass fed beef to the year 10+ years now. We are bringing in our beef from New Zealand because they have one of few few climates in the world where it gives them the chance to offer a fully Free Range Grass Fed product. They are able to grow grass for around 10 months of the year compared to our maybe 6? In the 2 months where grass in not growing they supplement the feed with two options 1. Fodder beat which is a turnip style vegetable that grows in the ground in their fields. 2. Silage which is basically those vacuum packed air tight bags of grass that we have all seen stacked in farms when we drive through Chilliwack or Abbotsford. Meridian is most proud to sell a beef products that is growth hormone & Antibiotic free.
