Sourced all from local Fraser Valley Farms. Our poultry is classified as Free-Run which means they do not have growth hormones (illegal in Canada) or steroids. They can be given anti biotics if they are showing signs of sickness. They would take those chickens away from the chicken coops as to prevent the rest them getting sick. They will have feed & water available to them at all times. There are no cages or pens used at all ever. You can find free-range poultry on the market however you start to double in cost from the Free-Run options that we carry.
